There comes a time, for every generation, when conscience comes to the fore and makes you question the status quo. This leads to a quest in search for the answers, solutions which will create the foundation for an improve future. Beejak was formed as an idea based on the findings of a field experiment undertaken by a group of young individuals. Three years later, Beejak took the form of an organization, based on the philosophy of ‘Beej’. A Beej ( seed ) needs appropriate conditions to unleash its potential- Beejak is embodiment of that idea. The founding members of the organization have come together with their on ground experience and energy to build a system, which can provide a prosperous blossoming future.

The organization is dedicated to lives of those who are in silence, who are denied a living and who are unable to think beyond today and look for a tomorrow. Beejak implies creating the foundation for the seed to blossom into a tree of life. The organization works at grass-root level, adopting a bottom-up approach. The aim is to minimize the diversity and inequity, by systematizing by social institution and connecting them to the people.

We are an attempt to compose a future by compiling a present that is humanitarian for all of us. An organization rooted in the belief of justice and equality, we make welfare into reality. The word derives from the work of Kabir. It was one of the earliest scriptures of modern hindi, a compilation of composition by the saint. It documents the sacred text, laying the foundation of belief for generation ahead.
